Spark Marketing Entertainment scores big sync deals with car brand Jaguar and with US box office number 1 movie “Fool’s Gold”
Los Angeles. Spark Marketing Entertainment LLC announced today that the current global TV ad for the new “Jaguar XF” features Deep Purple’s “Hush” which Spark placed successfully with the car brand.
Spark’s other success stories include the placement of “Love and Affection” by Nigerian reggae star Majek Fashek in Warner Bros. Picture’s romantic comedy, “Fool’s Gold” starring Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey and Donald Sutherland. The movie has been #1 at the US box office and has opened with a smashing 21 million dollars in the opening week-end and will be released in April in Europe.
Spark is also responsible for emerging artist Anya Marina being featured in the trailer of the romantic comedy “Definitely Maybe” with the track “Lovesick”. The movie is produced by Universal Pictures/Working Title starring Ryan Reynolds, Rachel Weisz and Isla Fisher amongst others. The movie has premiered successfully at the Santa Barbara Film Festival and will be released outside the US in March/April.
In other movie news, Spark placed Deep Purple’s “Hush” successfully in “Strange Wilderness”, a Happy Madison Production (an Adam Sandler company) in conjunction with Paramount. The movie stars Steve Zahn, Jonah Hill and Justin Long. The release outside the US is planned for April 2008.
During the 2007 holiday season the internet series “Quarterlife” (produced by Ed Zwick and the team behind “My So Called Life” and “Thirtysomething”) featured San Diego’s instrumental rock quintet Tristeza’s “Chuchillos de Hielo” in 2 episodes of the series. The internet series will be the first of its kind to go to network TV in 2008. It will premier February 26th, 2008 on NBC.
