Zurich. Spark gives James Bond Villains Collection by Swatch the fitting soundtrack
September 2008 saw the launch of a new collection by Swatch: the 007 Villains Collection.
Like Bond himself, true villains live on forever remembered fondly by their fans-and now by Swatch.
Celebrating the legendary British secret agent‘s most memorable adversaries, the Swatch 007 Villains Collection presents 22 Swatch watches inspired by the best...of the worst.
Our brief was to find the right musical interpretation for Swatch’s Villain
Collection. Spark’s idea was to use the legendary “Leningrad Cowboys”
from Finland. Like Swatch the band has a positive and fun image and attitude.
The campaign included: exclusive give-away CD with 2 exclusive James
Bond covers, a worldwide download campaign on MTV, Yahoo and Swatch sites,
artist interviews for the PR-Campaign as well as an unbelievable live concert
for the 25th anniversary celebrations of Swatch.

Swatch celebrated its 25th anniversary and the launch of the new Swatch Villain collection with an exclusive party in Bregenz, Austria.

One of the highlights was the appearance of two of the most well-known James Bond villains, Mad Mikkelsen aka ‘Le Chiffre’ and Richard Kiel aka ‘Jaws’, to this special event.
The Leningrad Cowboys gave the event the perfect soundtrack with a live
performance that got everybody up and dancing, and singing the night away.
