London, Spark produces album for the 40th anniversary of Southern Sun Hotels in South Africa.
What better way of reflecting and celebrating 40 years of Hospitality Leadership in Africa than to bring back memories with 12 well known and upbeat international hits spanning from 1969 to 2009?
Southern Sun was established in 1969 when SA Breweries Ltd and hotel magnate, Sol Kerzer, agreed to merge certain of their hotel interests to establish a chain of hotels throughout South Africa.
Southern Sun set about changing the face of South African hotel industry forever and apparently had a whole lot of fun doing it. In its first year the group had six hotels offering a total of 750 rooms. Today it has 85 hotels with 13,841 rooms spread throughout Africa, Seychelles and the Middle East. The booklet of the CD takes the reader through snapshots of some of the milestones.
The albums will be given away to guests and VIPs of the hotel group, and to the media for PR purposes.
